| Arkansas man, 40, shot by police after officers respond to disturbance A 40-year-old Arkansas man was in stable condition Saturday after being shot by officers who were called to a disturbance, authorities said. Arkansas State Police said in a statement that Eulas Linwood Hughes III was reported to have pointed a gun at officers at a residence on 2nd Avenue in Gravette.
