| Arkansas man given 37 years in wife's fatal bludgeoning John Davis and four others held Victoria Davis captive for hours at her house at 433 S. Hill Ave., where they beat and tortured her, according to Fayetteville police. According to a police report, Davis told police that he killed his wife because she wanted a divorce, and said he "shot her up with dope.".
