| Storms rake Plains as cold front approaches; north has snow The Storm Prediction Center posted severe weather watches from Arkansas and Oklahoma into northern Missouri and western Illinois. Hail up to an inch in diameter and 60 mile per hour winds were reported in northern Missouri. Additional storms hit Arkansas and Oklahoma late Monday afternoon.

| Stalled car prompts emergency response At around 12:05 a.m., dispatch got a call about a person inside a vehicle trapped by rising water near 3305 Caprice Parkway.
